Our products
The product range in the deodorised LPG sector encompasses different types of high purity gases, (propane, butane, isobutane and their mixtures, according to the needs of the customer) obtained through modern purifying processes that eliminate the impurities of the unrefined product (sulphur, water, olefines, heavy hydrocarbons).
The gases obtained are chemically stable, non-toxic, colourless and nearly odourless, nearly free from unsaturated compounds and non-corrosive. The hydrocarbon gases have been tested for long and have shown the following advantages:
- - they are saturated organic products
- - they are free from health-damaging components
- - they are non-toxic
- - their ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) is ZERO
- - their GWP (Global Warming Potential) is ZERO
- - they are not carcinogenic
- - they do not pollute surface water
- - they are cheap
Therefore these products are defined as “safe” if in contact with the environment and also with food, as stated by the American Drug and Food Administration.
As to halogenated hydrocarbons, Synthesis Chimica S.r.l. has focused its activity on very low environmental impact HFC fluoridated products, such as 134a and 152a.
